This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our mobile application (the “App”).

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, do not use the App.

Information we collect

1) Content you provide

• Hair/Scalp photos (optional): Images you capture or select for hair analysis (if you use hair analysis features).
• Food photos (optional): Images you capture or select for food/nutrition analysis (if you use food analysis features).

2) Device and app data

We may collect and/or store:

• Device identifier used for payment tracking

4) Subscription and purchase data

If you purchase a subscription or other in-app purchase:

• Purchases are processed by Apple or Google.
• We do not receive your full payment card information. Payment details are handled by the app store.

How we use information

• Provide hair and food analysis features.
• Show analysis history and associated images on your device.
• Enforce free vs. paid usage limits and prevent abuse.

Information sharing

We do not share information with third parties.

Data storage and retention

• On-device storage: Your analysis history, settings, and images are stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by uninstalling the App or clearing App data through your device settings.
• Server storage (usage tracking): To enforce scan limits, we store a device identifier and usage count. We retain this record for as long as you use the App, and for up to 90 days after your last use, after which it is automatically deleted.
• Analysis processing: Submitted photos are transmitted to our servers solely for processing to produce the analysis result. Photos are not stored on our servers after the analysis is complete and are deleted immediately upon completion of processing. We do not use your submitted photos to identify you.

Security

We use reasonable measures to help protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your choices and controls

• Photos: You choose whether to submit photos.
• Notifications: You can enable/disable notifications in your device settings.
• Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store / Google Play account settings.

Data deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time.

• On-device data: Delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the App or clearing its data via your device settings (Settings → Apps → Anagen → Clear Data).
• Server-side data: To request deletion of your usage records from our servers, email us at info@runotech.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". We will process your request within 30 days and confirm once deletion is complete.

Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International data transfers

Our service providers may process information on servers located in different countries than where you live.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by updating the Effective date above.
